flying around namibia

DAYS 1 - 3 Arrive in Windhoek and be whisked off on your first light aircraft flight to Sossusvlei Desert Lodge for luxury in the dunes. Be ready to have your socks knocked off with the exceptional stargazing here.

DAYS 4 - 6 Your next regional flight will drop you to Hoanib Skeleton Coast Camp in a remote area of the Kaokoveld. Eight large en-suite tents look out over a wide, rugged valley that slopes down to the almost-always dry Hoanib River. Enjoy game drives, a day trip taking you out to the coast and excellent walking trails. This place is a photographers dream.

DAYS 7 - 9 Up in the air again and over to Serra Cafema, one of the most remote camps in Southern Africa on the banks of the Kunene River. A wonderful part of your stay here is the respectful interaction with the semi-nomadic Himba community.

DAYS 10 - 12 A bucket list completion for many, today you’ll head off to Desert Rhino Camp. In a wide valley sometimes flush with grass, the camp lies in the enormous Palmwag Concession, where trackers patrol and protect one of Africa’s largest free-ranging populations of Critically Endangered desert-adapted black rhino.

DAYS 13 - 14 The final stop of your African adventure is Omaanda, a luxurious and beautiful-styled lodge not too far from the capital, Windhoek. The perfect place to reminisce by the pool on your trip but not forgetting to spend a sunrise with meerkats - watch these early risers bask in the sun and forage for food.
